TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SeasonHQ, a mobile application developed by ShockWave Labs LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using SeasonHQ, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Eligibility

SeasonHQ is designed for users aged 13 and older. Users between 13 and 18 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian. Children under 13 may only access SeasonHQ through accounts created and managed by their parent or guardian.

Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use SeasonHQ for any unlawful purpose.
• Send harassing, abusive, or inappropriate messages through team chat or direct messages.
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes on the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data, accounts, or teams.
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's infrastructure or services.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the app.

Team Data and Sharing

SeasonHQ is designed for team collaboration. When you join or create a team:

• Your name and profile information are visible to other members of your team.
• Messages you send in team chat are visible to all active team members.
• Direct messages are visible only to you and the recipient.
• Schedule events, attendance records, and lineup data are shared among team members.
• Coaches have administrative control over team settings, roster, and content moderation.

Chat Messages

All chat messages (team and direct) are stored in Firebase. Coaches may delete messages or remove members from a team. We do not monitor private messages but may review content if required by law or to investigate violations of these Terms.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in SeasonHQ, including messages, profile information, and schedule data. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service to you and your team.

ProspectHQ Upgrade (Optional)

SeasonHQ offers an optional, parent-initiated upgrade that exports a player's coach-verified athletic profile to ProspectHQ, a companion recruiting platform operated by ShockWave Labs LLC.

• Only a parent, guardian, or an athlete who is 18 or older may initiate the export.
• Only coach-verified stats, verified achievements, and games the player participated in are included.
• ProspectHQ is a separate, paid service with its own terms. Your SeasonHQ data is not shared with ProspectHQ unless you explicitly initiate an export.
• You may cancel your ProspectHQ subscription at any time; doing so does not affect your SeasonHQ account or team data.

Disclaimers

SeasonHQ is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShockWave Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of SeasonHQ, including but not limited to loss of data or loss of profits.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to SeasonHQ at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to other users or the service. Coaches may remove members from their teams at their discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app. Continued use of SeasonHQ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of SeasonHQ will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
